It was a long night that went on to the wee hours of the early morning on June 1st. Lucy went into her 1st stage of labor with her nesting for over 11 hours. I knew they were coming but when? After going though Diva's emergency C-section we were a just a little nervous over the birth of these little one.
The first pup came into the world at 11:05. ITS A GIRL!!!! Lucy delivered 3 more females then a male. By 12:00 we had 4 pups. The delivery went so fast, by 4:00 P:M she had 9 puppies. 5 females and 4 males. Figuring she was done, we cleaned her and her whelping box. Now it's my turn to relax. WRONG!! Ten minutes later we go to check on Lucy and she had another puppy. Total count of puppies 10. 5 Males and 5 Females. 3 black and tan males, 2 blue males, 4 black and tan females and 1 blue female.
IM so relieved that the delivery went so well. Lucy is such a great mother and the pups are doing wonderful. Ekco hasn't seen his kids yet, but he will soon. Sure glad he doesn't have to pay child support.
